PRAYER FOCUS(based on the Lord’s Prayer of Luke 11):
Worship the Lord for His Love and Grace toward the world, especially for the Church worldwide,and for PTC.
Praise God for His Kingdom Work –Commit yourself to work towards the extension of Christ’s kingdom in these days.
Petition and Intercession:
•For the work of the Pastoral Search Team –unity, wisdom, discernment, good communication, clarity, and the creation of a short list for the Board of Elders.
•For a good response to the published invitation of the PST to consider this important role at PTC.
•For the candidate of God’s choosing –someone who feels called to this ministry along with his wife and family.
•For wisdom and unity among the Board of Elders as itconsidersthe short list presented by the PST.
•For God’s perfect timing for the candidate weekend and for strongagreement bythe congregation to call the pastor of God’s choosing.
•For the logistical details concerning the pastor’s arrival and start in a way that confirms this decision to him and his family, as well as to the church.
•For the congregation to set aside personal preferences choosing to receive and support the new pastor well.
Confession–Ask God for His forgiveness for past offenses both personally and corporately at PTC.
Deliverance–Ask God to keep yourself and PTC from falling into temptations launched by the Enemy to keep you and PTC from fulfilling God’s willin building His church.
