Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at your worship service?

PTC is a friendly, casual church; you will find some people in jeans, some wearing suits or dresses. We aren’t worried about your clothes but we are eager to get to know you.

Worship on Sunday mornings is our opportunity to join together in giving praise to our great and awesome God. We are led in worship by our worship band and vocal team. The music is a mix of contemporary music and classic hymns. Our desire is to focus our hearts and minds on the Lord and worship God in Spirit and in truth. We hold to the authority of the Word of God which is our guide in faith and practice and therefore the preaching of God’s Word holds a prominent place in our worship service.

Where do I go on Sunday morning when I arrive?

If you arrive at Prairie Tab between 9:00 and 9:30 you will probably want to head over to the Fireside Room to get a cup of free coffee and meet some friendly people. At 9:30 our Sunday morning service starts in the Sanctuary. When you walk through the doors you will be greeted by one of our awesome ushers and if the service is particularly full, they will help you find an open chair.

Where do I take my children?

If you have children aged 2 and under we have a nursery available in Room 3 of the Education wing. You will need to sign them in and if it is your first time, there will be someone to help you with that process. Once you have them signed in, you will be able to leave them in the care of our nursery volunteers. Each of our kids ministry volunteers have passed a background check and have a heart to work with children.

Children ages 3 and up will have Discipleship Hour from 10:55-11:45 in the Education wing, starting off in the Blue Room #1.  We have a great group of teachers and assistants, who will be using the Gospel Project curriculum to give your child a well-rounded Sunday Morning lesson.
