Children's Ministries	Family Ministries Thank you for taking the time to check out the FAMILY MINISTRIES of Prairie Tabernacle.  We are privileged to have a growing group of young families within our church family.  We encourage our young families to enter into the Small Group ministries of the church where they can become involved in a group with other families for mutual encouragement and growth.    Movie Night On the third Friday of every month we are offering on the big screen a free Family Movie Night.   In order to make this an event for the whole family we offer different age appropriate movies in separate rooms. On April 25 , @ 7:00 PM, we are offering to the adult viewers the movie   "Because of Winn-Dixi ".   There is no charge for this event and the whole family is welcome.  Drinks will be provided and free child care is available. Family Meals  In an effort to foster existing relationships and also develop new relationships, our young families are placed into small groups to share a meal together on a monthly basis, every few months these groups are reorganized.   For more information, please contact Peter Rashleigh at peter@prairietab.com or phone 403-443-5858x24. Young Families Sunday School Class Here at Prairie Tabernacle we are privileged to have many parents with young children. We believe that “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3). We also believe that child-rearing is a responsibility given by God to parents (Eph. 6:4). In an effort to help our parents in the raising up of their children, we will be running a “Growing Kids God’s Way” course . This class is each Sunday morning in the Garden Room from 9:00-10:30 AM. Because this class is running during Sunday School, child care will be provided. As a class we watch the video presentation and look into the Word for practical tools in the process of raising children in a God-honouring way.
